Having been to Japan three times and checking out the guitar shops I can safely say.....

it IS that awesome there.

So many color options and interesting modded ones like the fiesta Jazzy up above with the TOM and metal guard. Cool binding guitars, cool color options, and all sorts of stuff. I pretty much try to buy a guitar each time I go because they rock and I save like $200 or more not paying shipping and the prices in store are sometimes a little cheaper than online.

Their customer service is also 100 times better then in any US store I have been in. They took the Jazzy I bought and installed a new toggle for me because the stock one had a tiny crackle noise when using. While I waited in the shop, they let me play any guitar they had in any amp I wanted. They sat me down, made sure the guitar was in tune and then left me alone to mess around. Once my guitar toggle was swapped out, they gave me a new set of strings, a tuner, guitar strap, padded gig bag, tuner winder, and some picks in a bag after they checked the guitar going through all scales to make sure action and intonation were set right and there were no dead spots or buzzing. They had me fill out the registration card there so they could mail it in for me.

Supreme. Felt like rock star service.

That's amazing. I've never had that kind of royal treatment here in the States. :( In fact I do most of my purchasing on line to avoid the cold brush and shitty service I get when I walk-in.

Fender Japan is guitar porn.

I would easily buy 15 guitars from them, I dont think I could say that about any other range.
