Picked one of these up yesterday on clearance at GC and I have to say I am pretty impressed. I got it so cheap I was already on my way out the door and in passing the salesman mentioned it because they were out of the Orange Micro Terror. Ended up picking it and a "demo" model CV tele custom wiht bag/string/picks for about 400.00 out the door.
Went straight to the gig at Casino Pauma without having even opened the case, yet alone playing it (I did restring the tele though).
Even though it has some small speakers, obviously I used the out on it to the PA. Really just brought it in to use as a backup for my acoustic guitar (even with band shows I usually play acoustic)... Well.. Plugged it in, did not even move the knobs....Just as it came out of the box. Plugged the tele in and ran it into my PA EQ'd straight up and dry... and I ran my TREX Yellow Drive in front of it. Acoustic guitar never made it to the show. First time I have played an all electric show since probably late 2007. A couple times thoughout the night I went to the delay/reverb setting but mostly just clean with a tiny reverb added on the middle pickup of the tele. Now I really want to go home and play around with it some more and check out the amp sims (which are suppossed to be solid) as well as just play around with the settings...
Anyways, lots of fun and the band/venue all seemed to love it.
Can use it as a practice amp, live "pre amp" for shows, or as a guitar recording tool...
Happy guy here. Great price and as long as it is durable should be a great buy....also comes with cubase, etc. Added bonus
