Got a beat '69/'72 Jazzmaster yesterday.

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

I'm starting to think all old guitars should spend a few years being owned by Pat. All of his guitars have great character.
The only bursts I'm into are the nearly opaque old Fender ones. Bonus points for being beat up.

Agree 100%. I'm always in awe of the stuff he finds.

Beautiful Jazzy and quite the epic trade, I'd say favorable on both sides. It really sounds like it was time to let go of the Maverick, no sense in hoarding rare things if they don't bring you happiness.

Good luck with it (both of you)
Thanks! I think it works out well. I can't think of anyone I'd rather see the Maverick go to than Pat. It will fit in nicely with his collection.

Don't forget amps! My Showman head was one of Pat's amps. :) Crackwhore approved.

That's a win/win trade, both guitars are sweet/desirable and will get a bit of fresh use.

Loving that jazzy, the red is so thin it's like an honey burst just like Ultra said. So sweet

Honestly the lack of red is the only thing I don't like about it. I wish so much of it hadn't faded out.
