Small headstock = Rosewood

Surf Green with rosewood looks much more rowdy:

I've owned and liked both on Strats, but I've only ever preferred maple on Teles.

i'd probably agree with you on the tele. rosewood feels a little odd on a tele to me.

I agree if we're talking standard tele, however if its a custom its gotta be rosewood...

I'd say depends on the color. I can't resist, here in luscious toffee with rosewood neck

Vintage V6 has arrived and I'm quite pleased with it (but not the bright white pickguard)
It's getting the mint guard, what colour should the rest of the plastic be
White:
Or parchment:

I'd probably go with parchment. Looks like a pretty tidy guitar for the money!

it's Straty enough for me, so far I've been impressed by the quality of Vintage as a brand the strat isn't quite as good as the Les Paul (as George said) but it's still good feels solid, stays in tune (even with a floating trem), and the headstock isn't too bad looking.

I realise I'm starting to sound like a Vintage fanboy but take the taste test: I got one failed one...

Put the mint guard on it... Looked shit, so decided to put its Kurt Cobain tribute clobber on.
