Well I wasn't gonna route the vibrato for springs. I was gonna turn the tube in to a stop tail and then use a tom bridge because of the 9.5 radius ya know? So basically it is for looks and to have a TOM.

Just a matter of dropping one of these in, gluing it, and then routing for the mustang vibrato.

I'm thinking about one of these.

What else does everyone suggest? What would work best with the 9.5 radius? I don't wanna get a warmoth mustang bridge either. I wanna try a TOM.

Cooterfinger received all the parts and whatnot. I got just got three jaguar pickups and bought three black pickup covers. Just need to get a warmoth mustang bridge now.

Minor update. The neck came with a small chip in the paint on the swoop. Just had to be the swoop. BLEH. But the seller gave me some money to compensate for it. It was packed good so it was usps's fault. I'm not gonna even bother with the insurance though. Just a pain... If cooterfinger can't fix it I will just have to do my best. Just put a drop of black on the spot. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Here's the marauder. It's one of the early ones from 2011. Pretty cool.

I think this pretty cool actually and look forward to seeing the finished result. But agree with Shad on the strat trem thing.

Much as I hate the strat trem, if you out the bridge cover on it, it would work well on the project and would, mean lower cost

I don't get it. Everyone hates the strat trem and now I'm putting a mustang tremolo on it and everyone's like NOOOO lol. It's gonna look and work out good. No worries. Cooter sent me pictures of the progress and it's gonna work out perfectly. And he might not have to fill the strat trem. Also I'll be using a warmoth mustang bridge. So it will look sweet. Eventually a staytrem to replace it. So no headaches. I lock the tube and tape the posts on the mustang tremolos anyway.
