Jaguar pickup foam/springs

Post by Awstin »

Well tits. Does anybody know where to get that springy foam stuff that is also sticky for underneath a jaguar pickup? I saw that any kind of foam would work really but specifically... I don't know if anyone looked at their squier jaguar pickups but they actually have springs in the foam. Pretty neat. If no such thing exists and some one happens to not use theirs from their squiers... Let me know.

Hell, I've used aquarium airline tubing in one of my telecasters between the pickup and body.

Haha nice. I was thinking of using the foam in a Seymour Duncan pickup case.

Don't use the foam . It's shit .. I actually used the pressed felt used on furniture to prevent scratching your floor .. 1 side adhesive . Stack them until desired height and screw in the pickup.. The felt had just enough springiness yet firm enough and it also helps seperate the wiring .. Works perfect .
I think I got mine from Home Depot for like $3 .
