Looks just like the guitar that hyde from L'arc~en~Ciel has, even down to the standard 6-pole Strat style pickup.gusman2x wrote:

And as such, I want it. I love that band.
Kicking and squealing Gucci little piggy.

The black on black on black just doesn't do it for me. I saw this model in a store just a couple of days ago and it looks even less inviting when hanging next to two white/tort mustangs. Funny detail though is that it still has the "Mustang" text after the fender logo, you just have to see it from an angle to see the black text on black finish.
Not sure if it works in the UK and probably not the way to go when ordering from a store, but if you can sometimes get away paying less importing if you take of the neck, label it as "guitar parts" and lowball the value a little.Noirie. wrote:lol@threatitlemeltedbuzzbox wrote:I got a mij JM from them in Feb and I have a Les Paul on the way.
I love ishibashi long time
How was import charges and stuff?
Yeah, but I don't think this overseas guitar retailer will cut corners for buyer's gain.xHJYMx wrote:Not sure if it works in the UK and probably not the way to go when ordering from a store, but if you can sometimes get away paying less importing if you take of the neck, label it as "guitar parts" and lowball the value a little.

I have a Jaguar on its way from Ishibashi - CAR, MIJ fitted with a set of Dimarzio humbuckers (a la Cobain)... cost is £327 - shipped.
Yes, I have to pay import and VAT when it arrives - 3% of value and 20% on top of that respectively.
That's still a cheap MIJ Jag.
Lovely people to deal with too - they write/speak good English and are super professional.

My Surf Green JM with hard case to my door step came in at £650 and it was all brand spanking new straight from the Fender Factory.
I couldn't buy it second hand for that.
Ishibashi UBox is gold.
I just got a for 47000 yen which is roughly £275. I havent seen this particular guitar in Europe for less than £850
