Are they standard sized strat pickups (i.e. easily replaceable) or have they been "smart sized" to some weird measurements like the neck?

They're just regular old strat pickups. It's just tough to choose. I think the neck and the body and the pickguard are the only things that wouldn't be very easily replaceable. Everything else is just a regular ol' Fender guitar part. It's swimming pool routed so that gives me more options and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Hey, check this out. ebay
I think it is super rare and another one like that won't appear on ebay soon. Price seems to be reasonable. Though it is a little bit toyish, it looks as great as standard size Edwards and much better than Epiphone LP Express. Scale as I understood is about 20 inches.
EDIT: There is some weird thing with a neck pickup, actually it is a speaker.
