Jealous, so jealous. Mostly because p90s are rawk in its best form.
And then I learned that turning down so slightly the volume gives you DYNAMICS. so you can bluez or jazz chord that baby.

They're great with a proper setup. Out the box they play like shit. Overall they're great guitars.

I like the look of Eric's better with the pickguard removed, or perhaps a black pickguard would do the trick too.
I never understood the point of 3 pickup Gibsons with 3 way switching over two pickups...seems like a lot of extra parts to just replace two perfectly usable tones with neck+middle and all 3 at once....all 3 at once never lives up to expectations.
Edit....phone typing "ureplacestood" instead of "understood"

Said this in the last Sheraton thread, I don't understand epiphones penchant for large (cheap looking) white pickguards, their guitars always look better with them removed...

It's silver, actually. The black royales are all a subtle black sparkle with pearloid binding with a sort of matt silver pickguard. It doesn't look that bad but I'm not a huge fan of pickguards anyway.

Looks white in the pic, and my Riviera had an enormous white guard in it. They definitely look better sans the guard.

3 way switch for neck/bridge and a volume for the always-on middle. Very sensible.

3 individual volumes, 1 master tone. 3-way for neck/bridge.
