I bought the most crabcore instrument ever.

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

i quite like the semi-hollow schecter tempests, they're a bit dano-esque.

the body shape looks stupid without that swirly guard though.

...and it appears the lipstick'd ones have been replaced by something much less attractive.

Schecter's range is baffling. I can find something to like in the line-ups of most second-tier guitar companies (Godin, Reverend, Framus all have their highlights) but all Schecter guitars are without exception remorselessly mis-shapen, ill-judged, jarring, ugly, clunky, style-less, revolting and abominable.

As for crabcore, there's this We Butter The Bread With Butter song:
Can't embed normal youtube vids on prehistoric atari 2600 forum software

They all have crabs, and use Engl amps.

I have never heard of this Crabcore thing. Is it actually a thing or some sort of Shortscale meta game that's gone over my head?

You're not down with the kids anymore maaan...

Unfortunately, It appears to be a real thing. But its nothing new, guitar players have squatted and spread 'em for years. Its just Johnny Ramone and James Hetfield taken to another extreme.

Nah it's not really a thing-- it was like 1 or two bands that nobody really listened to

IRLLOLs. Well it's true. They're all guitar things, and who's to say one mediocre fad is better than another. Remember when ATP were getting boring rockers to play their decent early albums in their entirety because everyone was bored of their stagnant stinking new shit? Like when Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth did it? Well now even Emmylou Harris is doing it and even my Mum went to that gig. It's gone too far, quite frankly.

I used to have one of those blue sparkly ones, i really regret selling it as I'd love to own it now but at the time I played metal so it was rather out of place against all my other rock guitars. I remember it sounded great though.
