EQ pedals

Anyone use an EQ pedal regularly? If so, any preferences? MXR looks pretty good.

If you're considering a Boss GE7 type, then look into the cheap but very solid GE7 knockoffs by the brands GLX (aka Beta Aivin, aka harley benton) and Daphon (aka Chord, aka Roberts, etc.)

I believe the little Danelectro one is based on the GE7 too, but it has the popular 'Sniper' mod already done on it.

But, y'know.. homophobia.

Goddamn it! I'm guessing the Dano one is pretty solid. Haters gotta hate.

I will definitely check out those other knock offs. Thanks Ro!

Mr Hatedemgays can't get at your money if you buy used, though

That is an excellent point. I've checked out all of these pedals... The Dano is priced right and has received rave reviews. Gonna try to snag a used one ASAP. Very excite! Tone city, here I come. Thank you Doogster :D

Just FYI, I did find a Dano but it was DOA. Not sure what happened, but sent it back for a refund.

I ended up going with a Fender micro EQ. These were just released and I found one in a local shop. It's tiny, has a volume control, and doesn't color the sound really. I'm liking it a lot so far.

The Fender-branded one is cheaper.

Ah sorry, I even tried googling UK retail and all, and actually got the US price on the Fender wrong so it's a pretty small gap here anyway.
