It looks really great to me. I think that Melody Maker SG is the only SG which you can strum strenuously staying clean or slightly overdriven and all metall guys will say " Whaaat the heck he is doing with SG??? "

The mm90 pickup does a great job of bridging the gap between traditional single coil sound and p90 growl, novak really knew what he was doing when he built it. It still amazes me that it is possible to buy a mid 60's gibson in Pelham blue for ~$1200 all day. I suppose the purists and collectors just don't have the time of day for them.

In a couple of years some popular band will appear with a frontman with SG Melody Maker and prices will rise instantly

That a little Orange Crush ? That's a cool travel amp. That have the built in effects like the 35 ? Great little solid state .. I usually hate solid states . The Oranges have a soft spot in my heart ...
micro crush, 1 watt tonnes of fun... No built in effects.

The old multi effects means I can just plug in and play with almost any effect I might want.
Using the Dio Sonic I built most of the time.

This looks like a great set up. Love the simplicity. Have been into Fender student models again lately, and they sound great when paired with an Orange.

Decided to mess around with a stereo setup today. Wish I'd been able to set the amps up further apart but I live in a student halls so not enough space for it.

What are your thoughts on the Morley wah/vol? I'm in the market for a wah/vol pedal at the mo & would rather not have 2 pedals

I can't comment on what the wah is like on the mini but the volume is very good. It's similar to all other morley pedals in that you can alter the sweep of the pedal by moving the LEDs, so you can tailor it to perform how you want.

It does the good stuff- I particularly like it's gatey-ness.

Damn, finboy. Any one of these would be an awesome set up. I've always enjoyed your project threads but never really thought about what happens to the end result. Such a great collection of gear.

Thanks man, I am working on my playing with all of my time off (unemployment: the joys of) and talking with a lot friends in bands. Hopefully soon I can start using them in live environments instead of just playing around the house.
