I shouldn't have sold my Danelectro 63, I miss that guitar...

good luck finding another. they're scarce these days. especially dano pros. been looking for a dano pro and can't find one, let alone in a nice color. or those dead on 67s.

all you see are hawks and jimmy page dc59s. sometimes a U2.

Aye the ones I've seen have been asking stupid prices... Might have to try a 59 or a u2.

I've heard the U2 is really nice. did see a couple 63's or 1457 copies for around $200-250 us on reverb.

and then there's always a real 1457 for like 5-600.

They can be had. Just don't be picky on the color.

The Silvertone 1449s are readily available. They're solid mahogany instead of the chambered bodies like the Danos but still beautiful players.

they look really nice and come in nice colors but the solid body ruins it for me. not to mention you could score vintage ones for an extra 200 bucks.

the 1478 looks pretty cool and solid though.

the reissues all look real solid and less like toys which is why I love danelectro/silvertone.

edit: I'd prolly be able to deal if they had that white side tape/binding.

I should have bought one from SKC Willie here, he saked $120 if memory serves me well. I bought Squier Bullet strat instead, not a bad guitar but I want that Dano better
