Is that a PRS copy of sorts? I like the look of that.finboy wrote:

HEAVY and LOUD. Haven't had a chance to practise with it yet (drummer lives down south, and I use whatever's at the rehearsal place), but I've got no doubts about the output at ALL. I would weight it for you but have no bathroom scales alas.johnnyseven wrote:How heavy is the HH L100 your're using, does it sound good, is it loud and does it take pedals well? I might have an opportunity to pick one up cheap.
It's pretty upper midrange-focused, I run the EQ at like Bass:4, Mid: -5 and Treble: -3 in order to balance the sound out a bit. It doesn't do 'sparkly highs', but its punchy as hell, VERY clean, love how it works with my pedals. Definitely more Marshall-y than Fender, with the cleans of a Jazz Chorus.
I actually like the distortion, it has a certain post-punk/Shellac thing going on.. plus you can mix channels for some interesting tones.. and it's got 2 fx loops!

i want one for myself, honestly, they look fantasticfinboy wrote:I've got a richmond empire, GREAT guitar. I had the humbucker/single model, traded the pickups for some tv jones t-armonds, the routs are big enough to accommodate either. It's a bolt neck, but really well worked, and the unfinished neck is a dream to play...
