That's weird. I have 3 Japanese fenders, and the nuts have been uniformly great. Much better than any other guitars I've had. Maybe I've been lucky/you've been unlucky.DesmondWafers wrote:I love the cij offsets, but they've all had such fucking bad nuts. Wow, I'm not normally a fan of 3TS, but with that white pickguard and the aged pickup covers it looks amazing on a Jag! Nice job.
If the high E was to close to the edge it could've been that the neck wasn't on quite straight. I'd guess that more than the nut being bad.gusman2x wrote:That's weird. ah, it's a locking one i'm after, i don't really use the trem and i like the tension when it's locked.Noisy Cat wrote:Sorry mate, I've put it on my Squier Jazzmaster for the time being, although I will probably buy an AVRI unit for it as well, eventually.stewart wrote:i don't suppose you're looking to punt the CIJ trem? i need one...
For what it's worth, I reckon the Squier unit is better/smoother than the CIJ – the AVRI easily trumps them both though.
