NGD: Compstang!

Picked this up via my local Gumtree with a hard case included. The seller already had some Switchcraft slider switches installed; I've added some Mojo pickups, a bridge without gaps between saddles, and solid-shaft pots with USA knobs.

LOVE the funky finish and the skinny neck – this one's a keeper!

Crafted in Japan P + 6 digits = 1999/2002
It's in great condition with hardly a mark on it. I reckon it's been stored in its case for most of that time.

I like how the blue has a subtle sparkle to it. It even looks a bit green in a certain light. I'm wondering what a mint guard would look like on it.

They're great – I've also got his pups in my Jaguar and Jazzmaster. They're all smooth and well-balanced, with good string definition. The customer service is great, the packaging is cute and his prices seem to be as good as it gets in the UK for products of this quality.

Here's the evil twin

I think mint would look ace to be honest. I also have Mojo pickups. Every so slightly hotter than std. They sound amazing, and are everything I ever wanted in a mustang pickup. And really reasonable too.
