Getting a finished one was smart because all you need to do for surface prep is scuff up the the existing finish with 400 grit and shoot. no need to surface prep, prim and sand to start with.

yeah and the colour is so close to a faded shell pink already it wont be bad if it shows thru

That looks great, but how does it feel? Is the quality as they say? I really want one now.

On first impression it feels really great and the bridge string-through holes line up perfectly with a wilkinson bridge--
Weighed in at ~4.5lbs which is ok for a 3 piece poplar body

I'm going to reserve final judgment on quality until I fit a neck on it since the neck pocket is the most important dimension

However, for the price, you probably won't find a nicer finished body.

jazzmaster neck fits fine im sure a proper tele neck will work too
