2.19" seems like a lot. This forum post has a few measurements that are a little less then that.

Are these only available from Andertons? Haven't seen them anywhere else online to order, not on Fender.com either. Are they embarrassed about this or something? lol

by width, I meant the neck at the butt end... alternatively - the width of the neck pocket at it's widest

no big deal - I just seem to be going through a vague phase.
