I'm pretty sure a Mastery would solve all the problems you are having, but they are pretty spendy.
If you ever find yourself out my way, you are welcome to try out my JM that has a Mastery on it and see what you think.

My mate has a 62 Jag with a mastery on and it works great but I've not felt brave enough to spent that much on a bridge yet
