Didn't know that these were a thing;
Vintage VSA540 Pretender
Headstock looks out of place to me and the tailpiece isn't a trapese thing either (if that bothers anyone).

Look like it's based on the hinese copies you find on AliExpress.
They have Red and Black, also.
Racing Stripes make them sound better.

Grohl's Gibson sig doesn't have the trapeze tailpiece either. I kinda dig the headstock though.

I dunno, something about the flat matte finish, "punch-out-diamonds" or something is just screaming Toys"R"Us.

And Reverends are conversely really great guitars, haven't played a bad one yet.

Sadly, I have to agree.
Just seems off somehow.
I bet if it had bass boat metalflake in red or gold it would look a LOT better!

Probably looks like a kid's guitar 'cause it doesn't have a carved top. Matte finish doesn't help, but I'd wager it's the other thing that would make all the difference.

^^^ so much this. The carved top helps the dave grohl sig not look that bad. IMO diamonds might not have been the best holes to punch into a guitar body, but #YOLO

Looks like a carve to me dudes, albeit pretty subtle. It's definitely got a cheap copy look to it but its not terrible, I've seen Epi Dots looking more craptastic than that.
