NPD - $20 MXR EQ

Post by luciguci »

the old white dude running the guitar shop down the street doesnt give a fuck, i just picked up this 6 band mxr eq for twenty bucks cash, a transaction that took 5 seconds at most "how much for the eq" "i'll take 20 bucks for it" "sweet here you go"

now im gonna figure out how to make this pedal sound weird but if yall got any setting suggestions let me know

Set it ududud, put before a fuzz with reverb and you will sound like The Jesus and Mary Chain.

DO IT. YOU WON'T.

JAMC vibe is totes JAMC :D

Good score, however you slice it.

Although fuzzes can respond is so many neato ways, I'm convinced that EQ's plus "what you got" could often easily replace the hunger for the latest conventional drive pedal, or basically anything that isn't a Soundblox Multiwave Distortion. BONUS FUN: Do an crazy EQ settingz and put it last in the signal chain to confuse your amps preamp section.

SHIT DUDES i just googled mxr 6 band eg settings and found mostly nothing except for this setting that is basically magic

Image

i tried it out with my epiphone g400, which is the muddiest piece of shit guitar i have ever owned and i hate it, and with the eq it was like an entirely new guitar. like taking the mojo blanket off of the mojo amp and mojo toning the shit out of my god awful hambaked guitar. watch me react to how good this shit sounds

lmao fuck i've had this pedal for 3 years now and its still going strong fuck yeah

anyways i'm resurrecting this because Noirie found and commented on one of my videos which brought me back here and then i checked out my SG de-mudding vid and the ratings made me laugh hard. guess people really hated hearing an SG sound good
