How to remove frontpanel of an orange 4x12?

Post by jagsonic »

My old orangecab 4x12 sounds a bit buzzy last time. So i think, one of the old g12h has quitted the job. So i would remove the frontpanel to check the membranes but the only way to get inside is backwards. How the hell can i remove the front (it's an old 70ies orangecab 4x12 rolacelestion g12h) ?!?

The front is usually not removable. You'd probably have to just pull off the back and unscrew the speaker from the baffle.

This is a Matamp chassis, but same as/similar to Orange..
You'll definitely have to remove baffle from front to back...
