After the necks(bolt-on mahogany) were separated from the body(mahogany), by hand
Wow! By hand?
The drill-a-hole-in-it idea may have come from Status Quo, for the avoidance of theft?

He goes on to say its been reamed for CTS pots so I think that's the "by hand" part, but yet again, really all that impressive?
