My gunmetal flake is wonderful. I liked the pickups so much that i even have it in one of my other guitars.

found a website that does custom pickguards. Still waiting for this bad boy to get in, but I can't decide if I want to keep the atomics or swap them out for a JB/Jazz combo. Also been looking at others, but again... not sure!
