The first, is it Mint Green?

I used to love tort on black but the first looks classier to me.

I think it's more parchment guard, cream pickups / knobs.

white/cream/mint on black is like the most default ubiquitous strat config, however it can look great on a beater. i think go tort.

Top most definitely looks like Fender mint.

I don't think there's a wrong answer here, they're both in good taste.

In which case my option is slightly different

Am also considering tort with black pickups / knobs

I used to play a black and tort partscaster. Was a fun guitar. I used it for the rock gigs I did in my mid teens.

A nice well beaten strat is like an old friend.
But a ripped up strat with tort is always nice. Mix them.

This morning it looked like this:

(got a bit fed up with this look)

This afternoon it looked like this:

(the parchment looked too white against the cream)

Tonight it looks like this

(Gabriel style) the tort is slightly more red than it looks in this pic.

Have any more black pickup covers? Because if so, I'd probably go with white pickguard and black pickups / knobs. Or all black for that matter. Tort looks nice though.

Not fond of all black guitars but I like the morning best. Way classiest. but I understand the need for change, tort then. White on black looks like every Strat on Craigslist.

Just got a bit fed up with the black on black look & fancied a change, might end up going back to black... Eventually, that's the joy of teh fender guitar model changing the look is easy.

Ps: The tort looks better in person my shitty phone pics aren't doing it justice.
