Scroll Down For the Crack
久しぶりですね!
So I've been considering buying an AXIS. I thought i found a perfect one...great condition...no dents...Then the author mentions a "harmless neck pocket crack that's only in the paint". I scrolled down only to reveal the horror. It looks just as bad as the crack that's in steve vais EVO. Do you think there's anyway it can just be in the paint? Every bolt on neck guitar I've ever owned has had some normal stress cracks but that is a little extreme. And he refuses to come down on the price!!!

I hate neck pocket cracks. I know most of the time they are just visual and stuff, but they bug me.

Looks like it is just in the finish. If you have a guitar guy you trust have the guy meet you with him to check it out. If it is for playing get it if it is just poly crack.. If you are going to flip in a year or so you should pass on it.

it might not be just the finish, plus it's pretty big

Fuck! My car runs on Tubes!
When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

It's a wood crack, imo. And very big.

Syringe with small bore needle, glue (I like "Tite Bond") and clamps.

I wouldn't trust that, especially not sight unseen. Luthier special, that one

One of the worst things about bolt-on style guitars.

I have nothing to base my assessment on other than a terrible picture, but that makes me an expert imo so I say go for it.
