Post by jmmc »

Just ordered this 12 string Harley Benton from Thomann. Any experiences with this one?

I have a Harley Benton bass that is pretty good considering the cost. Will be interested to see what you think of this guitar.

I kinda dig blatantly fake Rickenbackers . That one is actually pretty cool. :D

f hole placement and chrome pickup rings ruin the aesthetics to me.

looks decent quality and probably plays great.

although I've never played a 12 string with buckers, not sure how that would sound

Interesting bridge is interesting. Saddles for 12 strings, "stoptail" anchor for 6.

...and that tailpiece found on wannabe Rics everywhere.

if you can intonate each individual string, it's already more practical than most rickenbackers. if you want the ric bridge that intonates each string it'll cost you the same as this entire guitar

looks pretty cool, but 12 string plus small hollow body probably means neck dive.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts
