Modded Fender Supersonic Pics & Bottom String Question

Finally got my new Fender Supersonic modded and set up the way I like it:
White pickguard from wdmusic
seymour duncan jb/jazz pickups
dimarzio push pull knobs

Setup is lightning fast with dimarzio jazzrock strings

I only have a few issues/questions:

1. As you can see in the pictures, the bottom E string is VERY close to the edge of the neck. Curious if this is normal or if there is a way to fix it?

2. There is a slight buzz on the A string. I partially think this is due to the low setup.

3. My guitar tech mixed up the wiring so now the neck pickup is controlled with the knob closest to the bridge and visa versa.

4. The tremolo bar is really wobbly in the bridge.

My main issue is with the E string, but other than that this guitar is phenomenal. I LOVE the new pickups and they sound great split.

You could try slackening off the strings, slackening off the neck screws and seeing whether sideways pressure will move the headstock down a couple of mm.

That looks nice. Why the new pickguard? Just the two extra pickup screw holes?

The old one was an off white color. I prefer the solid white and really didn't want to drill holes

1. sometimes fender fuk up their bridge alignment. you could try some block saddles that force the string a certain way. that or your guitar tech is a chump - he should be able to fix it or at least point a cause out.
2. your guitar tech is a chump. you can raise the A string slightly at the bridge. it may also be a neck relief issue. also if you changed gauge of string from the ones the tech set the guitar up with, then you're at fault a little here.

4. do you mean it rattles, or its too easy to bend a lot? if its the latter you can add more springs if need be. also probably because your guitar tech is a chump. if he took springs out and kept them he's a thief as well as a chump.

you should take it back to your tech and get him to do a proper job of it, especially if you've paid for it.

Yeah, his tech is a chump. What George said like 3 times...

I wouldn't bother taking your guitar back to him because most chump theiving guitar techs are arrogant chump theiving guitar techs..
You were prolly better off watching the same youtube lesson your tech did. Could of saved 75-100$.
Find another tech.

I don't know where you are in Louisiana, but up here in Monroe the guys at Matt's Music are great. I always feel bad for buying guitars off the internet and them bringing them in for a set up, but paying retail sucks.

once you find a good tech you'll know it when you get your guitar back, and you won't have to troubleshoot their work on forums.

until you find one don't bother callinng them "your" tech.

nice guitar though, pretty color.

The low E looks playable still. It would have been a lot easier to adjust if it was out at the nut end but it looks like it's a consequence of the bridge relative to the neck, but the positive side of that is it looks most playable nearer the nut where you're most likely to use it.

If there is enough slack wire you could possibly swap the pots for the neck and bridge controls without having to get out the soldering iron. The only way to tell is to open it up and take a look. Having the control plate makes that very easy to do though, just a couple of minutes with a screwdriver will let you know if you can do it or not.

I'm in monroe! Jamie at Matts actually set me up. He is the most chumpless raddest dude up there. I took my axe back up there and he reset it all up in like 5 seconds.

Ok ok ok guys here is the deal. I don't appreciate you bashing "my tech". Yeah I could have stumbled around and figure it out, but the truth is I think he does a sick job and I like giving the only local music store any business I can afford to give. Every time I've ever had anything done, it's either perfect or damn near perfect. I took my guitar back and turns out it was something very very minor. Should he have caught it initially? Maybe.. but he stopped what he was doing and fixed it for me in a matter of minutes. He is a most chumpless dude.

Nobody ever wants to see feet in a guitar shot and yet it always happens.

Isn't the wiring in Super-Sonics supposed to be back to front? Or did he wire them up like a "normal" guitar?

I don't think it's back to front but the Squiers at least used two volumes and no tones.
