It was built by myself under the guidance of Robert(original) about 5 years ago. It's been played by all who were out at the 2009 Albq. I'm not entirely pleased with the sound, but it's super cool and I'll never get rid of it!

Oh, looks supercool. Black and white is just a perfect combination for Bronco.

I don't think I'm anal retentive

Until I see such a fucking abomination of a comp stripe attempt on an otherwise aesthetically perfect guitar.

I agree with it too. It's the only thing I'm a little miffed about with the guitar. Buuuuuuuut the paint job was free, so I'm not really complaining.

That's in the paint?

Man, I'm sorry.

:(

(Actually I vaguely remember learning this the last time this guitar was brought up, and likely being equally opinionated about it  )

All black guitars look great but yeah...that stripe isn't the prettiest I've seen.

Are those green strings? I didn't know such things existed.

Dr. NEON strings I think. They fluoresce under black light.

Ya know, I kinda like the stripe on *this* Bronco... no it's not a traditional placement/size, but somehow it jives with me. I'm sure I'd hate it on a Mustang, or perhaps even a different colour on the Bronco body... but here I like it.

Buddy Holly's 1970s material is very underrated.

What is the guitar in the op though? Squier strat neck and homemade body?

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

I saw him at The Mudd Club in 1979. He opened for The Talking Heads.

unless gary busey really did play gigs as buddy holly? i love how they didn't give gary one guitar that looked remotely like any of buddy's guitars in that movie.
