in some pictures it looks like it has full size buckers....odd.

$299 is a great price for that. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted.....no monies to spend on myself this holiday season tho :-(

Gorgeous thing. Despite the fact that I like the aesthetic of 1966 Wilshire better this thing is just the beautiest guitar for $300 you can buy atm. Guitar is unique and will have a good resailing value. I remember that they improved minibuckers for this models - I didn't like old ones in Wilshire, it may sound better.

It looks stunning and like thrice more expensive than it is, congratulations! I'm looking forward for the pictures when it arrives.

You won't be able to put p90s into that routings Yuriy, they are not like soapbar routings, they are smaller and shape wise look like routings for full sized humbuckers. Unless you route them for the soapbars.

Thought mini hums and soapbars were interchangeable. Either way I'd want to see if I liked the pickups in it before throwing new ones in...kids these days.

Anyway....includes hsc and $17/month with the financing?

It seems these sell on ebay all day for around $350-500 used in good shape.

$300 for a new one is a bargain still but that makes me feel a bit better about not buying it.

I need a bass amp and a pedal board way before I need another guitar....but guitars are so much prettier and easier to emotionally justify buying.

It works for Gibsons, not for Epis. Gibbies have a ring for mini humbuckers that is made of soapbar cover and a routing for soapbar, so you can put there either P90 or minibucker. Epis have a pickup ring that is a copy of the full sized humbucker ring and a routing for the body of pickup and its ears - you won't be able to put there P90
This is Gibson's cavity

And this is Epiphone's

I expect to get run out of town for saying this but I don't really like these. They look like silly plastic guitars drawn by a child. An exercise in how to make a double cutaway guitar not stylish at all.
