just checked their site for the first time. some beautiful, some nerdy, and some questionable designs. very cool.

I like Sarah Ryan's work more than the guitars.

Yep, me too. I was considering ordering one a couple of five years ago, but pieced together a Tele thinline instead. I like his more straightforward contoured Teles, maybe with a painted animal - the crow and firefly on the back look cool. I'd have a weasel.
