Shimmer reverb invasion (throw away that Strymon?)

Post by Golden_Sonic »

Global FX pedals market has been filled of several reverb pedals with the "shimmer" mode in last times (Strymon Big Sky, Line6 Verbzilla and its Behringer version were the only ones that had this mode). With the Digitech Polara, Hardwire Supernatural and Mooer Shimverb released recently, everyone can afford this kind of ambient verb according to your own budget. And now, Mooer continues his "shimmer reverb war" with another new product: the "MOOER SHIM VERB PRO" has been finally released for the market, even if it is not yet available on Thomann (maybe after the Winter NAMM). It seems a very interesting pedal, assuming that they have improved the "shimmer" mode.

When I saw the Hardwire Supernatural and the Digitech Polara, I didn't know if buying one of those or the EH Cathedral. I think I'll wait more video to listen to this sweet machine and definitely make up my mind. On Mooer site this reverb is in the "New 2015" section so perhaps it will be sold after the Winter NAMM.
