heh, I like the look of the GFS better. Especially if it actually was tangerine color like it looks like and not just cheap orange butterscotch like I know it probably is.

Think it's great that a company that was selling decently made guitars for under $200 no longer saw a market for this model....at which point Fender swoops in and starts making them for $1500. WTF.

Another option is Indy guitars . A little more money but much more guitar . Has a real lipstick in the bridge . Even comes with a case.

These are retailing for about $300 on Amazon .

A lot of folk were buying these and slapping Fender Strat necks on them calling them Telemasters . The shapes are actually much closer to the Fenders than the Xavieres.

They even make a Mustang clone
