Menatone Howie overdrive

Post by GreenCustom24 »

Hey guys. I have a chance to grab a Menatone Howie overdrive pedal from a dude in town. It's the 2nd version from the early 2000's. I've watched some demo videos and (through my laptop speakers, at least) it sounds great. Anyone ever use one of these? Are they as great in person as the reviews say? Worth the price they normally sell for? I'm getting a killer deal if I buy it so I'm not super worried about the cost...

Never heard of this pedal, but I have heard of the Menatone Red Snapper - which is supposed to be very good (Duane Denison used one). My advice would be to try it out with as much as your own gear as possible before buying.
