Magnum Les Paul Custom Copy

Post by westtexasred »

I bought this online from guitar Center Today for $139. I think it is pretty much the same guitar as the one I bought in 1978 at Crazy Eddies Record Store for $99.

Image

This is the one I bought at Crazy Eddies. The headstock shape is the same as the Magnum but it has an "A" instead of the "Butterfly"

Image

I bought the one in 1978 because it looked like the black Les Paul Mick Jones had.

cheap, japanese LP copies rule..I had several, a nice one was a Hondo II with stock DiMarzios..like most of them chambered with a bolt-on neck..
chambered means a funny, thin layer of veneer on top (instead of a solid maple cap)
I also had a japanese one with singlecoils in humbucker case..sounded great!
