That looks great! I have heard that some of these Kalamazoo guitars are less than well made. Doesn't seem true of this one, but is that the usual case?

I think it is the stock case. It is the case I see most of them in on google images. Plus it says Gibson in it and I can't imagine many other Gibby's fitting in it. It is super thin.

Nah, I meant are most of these guitars made of masonite or not (now that I've read the entire thread I see that topic already came up)

This is the downstairs crew at the moment. I will do an upstairs shot in a bit. The Kalamazoo is upstairs in it's case at the moment. That one feels totally solid. Not flimsy at all. The tremolo is strong. Only thing I might change is a TOM instead of the wraparound bridge it has but that works fine and seems to be intonating just fine in spite of not being adjustable.

Check this bridge, I think Cur is using the same one in his project. Might be a good alternative. ebay
