I find it difficult to get a handle on the guitar from that clip. The still shots look stretched sideways - am I right?

Yeah the sound on that clip is rather strange it does mask the tone of the guitar. Its really a demo of that sound by using new and old technology (Kemper Profiler and Boss GT5) The still shots of the guitar are not stretched, thats how it is. Think of the Brian May guitar body shape and you have it...

Methinks his video editing program stretched his pics to 16:9
