New music room
We've had a week off and just finished off a re-order/paint of the music room.
Apart from a banjo that is just out of shot (a Deering, natch) and Cheryl's guitar (my old Epiphone Les Paul)this is everything I have now - from 30+ down to 9, everything else is either sold, or up for sale. Sorry the pic isn't any better, but a step further back I'd be out the window!
From right to left:

Back to my roots I suppose, my only guitar for years was a Les Paul. I got the P90 one a while back, then the Class 5. The Class 5 is the best guitar I've ever owned by a fair way, and prompted selling off most of my guitars. I honestly couldn't believe how well it plays.
But yeah, Slashtonez. I've got the JCM800 on order...
Gabriel - I don't think I'd get away with having guitars and amps all around the house - having a room with it all in is a bit of a luxury and keeps me from annoying Cheryl when I'm practicing

I didn't know you had a 00-15ME, I own the older 00-15 model with cheap tuners and decal rosette (and I think I always will).
Everything you'd ever need from an LP between those 3 as well, very nice.

The angle of the photo makes it look smaller than it really is, it's a double bedroom. Although bedrooms over here aren't all that big in comparison with other countries, we are a bit crammed into a small island.Fakir Mustache wrote:nice but looks really cramped.
not sure the Gibsons so close to the radiator is a good idea either.
Everyone mentions the radiator I'm not daft, it is switched off, the room doesn't really need it, even in winter.
Paul - it's all the acoustic I'll ever need I think.
Finboy - it's been surprisingly easy to let them go actually. It was great to own them all, but I haven't regretted selling any.
Looks great Nick.
I've finally got a room to keep all my stuff in but it looks like a bombsite at the moment compared to your lovely organised room. You're inspiring me to get decorating and then sort it all out.
+1 on the Marshall admiration too. Was looking at the HW 1974X (?) at one point but think it would have been far too loud for my uses. Got a Class 5 in the end, which is also pretty loud frankly.

1974x is the 1x12 version of mine I think. I use it with an attenuator at the moment, but I will hopefully be gigging with it. The Marshall Class 5 is a great amp - is yours the version with the low power switch?BearBoy wrote:Looks great Nick.

Ben - The Les Paul Deluxe sounds like a Tele (really, it does) is that close enough.
