I'd buy one if they weren't so expensive. I bet the ONLY reason it sells for so much is because of the association with Kurt. Eastwood is sure happy to point that out. Ironic that the Eastwood site says it has a Univox headstock, when it's much closer to a Mosrite headstock (as many of their guitars are), and the original Hi Flyers were Mosrite copies. I can't imagine the Univox headstock shape was copyrighted? In fact I'm not sure why they don't just resurrect the Univox name with these things. But if I wanted a modern Mosrite copy, I'd for sure go with a Hallmark.
Watched both of the recent Cobain movies, Montage Of Heck and Soaked In Bleach.. remembered about this guitar. Man that fucker is nice.
Worth mentioning that Iron Butterfly uses the same model in tobacco sunburst color on In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. So this guitar has got double allure and it's not exclusively a Cobain poseur guitar.
Anyone own one of these and got some pron to share of it?

i dont think theres TOO much of a nirvana connection outside of shortscale and other kinds of kurdtz circles compared to the jagstang and other modded shortscales with the relevant colour schemes
this could just as likely be associated with the ramones, or no one really

He used in the Heart Shaped Box video, so I don't think it's that unknown.
