Squier Bass VI or Baritone

I know this is the opposite of a short scale post heh but I'm curious...

I'd like to get a baritone of some sort and I really like the squier Bass VI, but I dont want the uber heavy bass strings.

Has anyone setup a bass vi with a good deal lighter strings... like more like standard baritone strings... i guess 14-78 or somewhere in that ballpark?
