I'm sure Fender just use that guitar builder, none of them ever seem to look right.

CAR is incredible looking. I think because it looks even darker than it normally does. Looks closer to the TVL Jazzmaster to me.

Great. I just bought a fiesta red one, too. But LPB is the rarest of MIJ colors. I'll have to get one. I've decided.

Worth is always a tricky question but new MIJ Mustangs have been that price for a while now.

As far as UK prices go, I thought they were pretty good value. I am sure the "Classic 65" Mustangs were more expensive.
Might seem pricey to you 'Mericans though.

the 65 reissues were priced around £799 last I saw. They were like £500-550 around 2008/9 iirc.

The '65 RI used to be $699 here. You used to find them used for $400-450 easy. Then one day they became $939 and now you can't even buy them anymore.
That LPB Comp Stang, I've actually been looking for it to show up anywhere. I look for it all the time on various used websites. If I have the money, it's absolutely a guitar I will need to get.

Nah dude, my best guess is that FMIC just came in and took everything over, changed the names of the MIJ guitars, and moved everything to a different factory
Pretty sure they will still make Fender Mustangs in Japan (tho could be wrong)
