Cracks in a set neck solid body? 怖&

Post by JJLipton »

So I was thinking about purchasing a PRS Navarro model, ( not a fan of him, just like the guitar), and I noticed some frightening damage done to this guitar.

I've never seen a set neck guitar with a crack in the body before. Most cracks I've seen stem from the neck joint on a bolt on guitar. As you can see it also has a neck pocket crack. That one doesn't look too bad though...
Think I'm getting screwed? :(

Probably a finish crack, not a seam/wood one. Normally these are superficial, but all that said, I hate them and avoid them as best as I can.

I agree with HNB, those are superficial. They might keep me from buying something but they aren't frightening as far as serious damage to the guitar.
