Post by Gatortail »

Anyone selling a gold foil bass pickup?
I tried to check the classifieds but have to make 50 posts before I can see it.
Thanks

Respectfully, for what reason? It's a legitimate question.

Stick around for a while. You've obviously got a unique interest in pickups, you might like it.

The reason I'm looking for one is that the bobbin on the one in my bass has totally disintegrated. I miss it. I've stuck a jazz neck pickup in as a temporary replacement.

You answered your own question.

I don't think that asking for a lead on a pickup is really all that big of a deal. I don't understand for what reason you want to censor my post.Have I offended you?

I doubt jcyphe is offended. However, there are rules and you know them. Maybe ask if anyone knows a place that sells what you want or knows how to fix yours. You specifically asked about our classifieds and at the same time you know it is locked until 50 posts. No peaking until 50 posts.

It is kinda like this bass. Mine has one pickup istead of two. Same pickup though.

Posting urls that don't work, often because you used https instead of http

Failing to post pictures/videos correctly. Although Rob tend to do it with videos rather than photos **happy**

Like the bass by the way. What is it?

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah, I'm not worth a damn on a computer.

Thanks. I don't have any clue. There is no name on mine. Mine is routed for a pickup in the middle of the body. Just an old beater that sounds ok.
