It'd be cheaper to take a holiday to New York and to sneak it back with your luggage, if you don't get caught you've had a free holiday.Gabriel wrote:Yeah I got a nearly £700 import tax bill when I got my guitar shipped over. Combine that with the shipping cost of around £200 it makes it really very expensive getting guitars shipped over from the US.

That was one of my original plans and if I were to do it again I would probably do. It just happened that the guitar was finished the week before christmas so flights were super expensive.johnnyseven wrote:It'd be cheaper to take a holiday to New York and to sneak it back with your luggage, if you don't get caught you've had a free holiday.

This gives me the excuse to stay on my couch and do nothing as usual... Well done Bastin
Just a quickie
Not played at volume yet, but so far every aspect has exceeded my hopes and expectations. Fit, finish, and set up are flawless. Was expecting to have to do a bit of setting up, but it was ace right out of he case. The sound is what's really blown me away though. The clarity is phenomenal, without being crashy or harsh. Kind of like a more dynamic P90 or something. Even with thick fuzz, the individuL notes seem to come through, but not in a piercing way.
Plus, it's the same colour as my favourite drink...Gaviscon
