That's pretty cool! I sort of like the better than the stop tail jaguar for some reason.

Me too. I am honestly starting to hate the jag trem on my stang... :D I have it blocked off with a chunk of wood anyway.

I have the white one with the jag trem, It's ridiculously good for the price.
The pickups are especially good.
the only downside is the finish is a bit dodgy in places, though I fixed it with pink glitter so it's more like the red one.

I have the same guitar from the same factory only with a real mustang headstock from fokus guitars :) And yes, it is really good. But i painted it aged daphne blue and installed a bridge hb :D But i just seem to love the stoptail thing and red with white stripes... That just looks so cool :D

I've started to build something like that ages ago. It was a struggle to build the body, then it was a struggle to build the neck. Now I have no wish to assemble everything together - it drank too much of my blood and the magic of the whole idea has gone.
Anyway, what is the thickness of the body of this Stoptailstang? I guess it is thicker than 40mm

It is the same body as every other chinese stang. so it is thick enough to fit a jazzmaster tremolo inside. The same thickness as a normal thick strat i think...

I'm not a huge fan of comp stripes, but that's crazy-good value for money.

Re: body thickness. The trem is the only thing about these guitars that I dislike, so a stoptail or the possibility of dropping in a Jag/JM tailpiece and making it a Bilinda-stang is very appealing indeed.

well they make the white one which is a billinda-stang. Only with the fucked up headstock. But there are better bilinda-stangs with nicer headstocks. namely the bach and fokusH.

Thicker body makes musang style guitars weigh alot. Half of the fun of Mustang/Duosonic is in the fact that it has thin and lightweight body imho, though with that price I would try that guitar.

Looks ace. Must learn self-restraint...
