Typical that something I've wanted for some time should be the signature model of a total poser

There's similar pedals out there already, of course, but the $180 RRP means it may end up a slightly more sane price over here.

Hopefully they'll get someone more imaginative than Johnny Chords there to do the proper demo

Can't decide if it's awesome or a one trick pony, or an awesome one trick pony.

Also, this is a bit awesome. Need some of these:

sure, but I can't think of a simple that does this stuff, they all have 20 modes and 10 knobs and stuff like that, I only use 1/10 of my pitchfactor because of the excess of stuff it has.

That looks really usable, you just set up a not too crazy distortion for the main parts, then go all out on the lead or other part of the song. Kind of like the new DOD Gongulator sort of, except that's a different effect.

Too much stuff out there, I was thinking of getting an Earthquaker Devices Tentacle, but I have a hard enough time putting a tremolo on my pedalboard, not only because of space, but because I have two loops set up for clean and dirty and I want it in both, and I can't get a 4 loop switcher either because it won't fit and I don't want to get a bigger board.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

Yeah, I was eyeing that up too; the fact it can do a ratty distortion as well as all the bit crush biz is pretty great.

Expression pedalable too, which could be fun/gimmicky.

Just got one of these- technically for my birthday, but whatevor, you're not my real dad.

It's one of those pedals that can do both 'TOTES RANDOM LOL!' and also be super pretty. Most demos online are pretty bad at showing the balance, the main Malekko demo makes it look so gimmicky.

Will look forward to demoing this along with my Clusterfuzz probs in late June (free house for a few days)

Spent more time with morning, it's seriously fun, I really need to get an expression pedal involved as it allows you to control any/all of the main parameters (not preamp or mix), within in a range you set on the dial itself.

PLUS I didn't even realise how the manual mode works until now (it triggers the re-sample when you click the footswitch), which adds an extra dimension even the input-signal triggered operation doesn't have.

It's like the lovechild of a EHX Freeze and a fucked-up delay, who wouldn't like that? It even does the Radiohead 'Go To Sleep' thing.

The Wandre guitar in the OG video is better than the pedal.

Tried to do a quick little demo, but my available audio setup right now made demoing an already dense pedal in a good light even more impossible. Soz Stewpot.

It's cool man, don't worry. Already decided I'd "quite like" one, just depends if I can justify the outlay (I can't)
