What shortscale strings are the best?
What strings for a shortscale? I mean the shortscale wobliness seems nonexistent to me... I have 11-49 dean markleys on my tele, action set really low with no buzz and i can do everything just fine. But on the fucking mustang, even with pretty nice action after grinding some frets and other shit, i still can't do a fucking barre chord on 10-52? I mean what the fuck? I am thinking Dadario NYXL 11-49 or those power slinky things 11-48 on the Mustang, but i am afraid of buzz with those thinner bottom strings. I like 11's or even 12's on the high strings but i cant stand anything thicker than a 49 on the low E, probably. Any advices?

Well just came from the shop with the classic 2250 ernie ball rock and roll strings(pure nickel) 11-48... Never heard better tone nor was playing the mustang more comfortbale. I guess my tiny hands just hate big strings.(and love thick high strings for some reason) anyway, plays absolutely nice and everything.
EDIT: And oh yes... they sound like 1000 times better than most modern super alloy strings... The rock and roll thing is completely true. And i love vintage sounds
