Incoming NGD: I did something bad.

Saw this sweet deal on one of those laquer jazzmasters with a mastery bridge and hardshell case and pulled the trigger. Haven't bought a fender in years holy shit. Pics will ensue as I'm on mobile.

Good times. It comes with a mastery as std, or is it a 2nd hand one that someone put a mastery on? What's the colour?

It's one of those new surf green ones, previous owner installed a mastery bridge.
Mastery bridge and a hardshell case for the price of it new. Couldn't pass it up.

Nice one man. I tried one of the Jaguars and was blown away by it.

Looks fresh as hell Tim. Does the mastery make a huge difference? This'll be my first time even trying a mastery bridge.

I quite like the standard bridges, but I've not switched back, let's put it like that. People moan about them because of the cost, but I've got pedals that cost more than aren't always on, whereas this is a permanent (comparatively) mod for my favourite guitar.

Bang-for-buck wise, I think the staytrem collet is the best Jag/Jazz mod, but I use the trem a lot.

Good score, Josh. Love that green. I've had 2 Staytrems - will be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Mastery

That's good to know that they're worth it, just could not pass up a guitar with a mastery already on it. Expecting this thing to show up at my house possibly Tuesday or Wednesday. Beyond excited.

Let's see if these images I snagged off the listing work, I'm on a cpu now and not on mobile.

Yeah I'm totally smuggling this one in my place. Luckily it's close in color to my other jazzmaster and my gf approves of it. Only another day or two before this sucker arrives!

Also thanks speedfish!

I quite like the stripe down the rosewood fingerboard. Wonder how pronounced that'll be in real life.

Thanks man! And lol jcyphe

Got it today, shit is fucking NICE. I've never had shit like this, has that nitro smell and shit too. I'll have some photos up of it hopefully tonight. The pickups are pretty bright, definitely would sound good paired up with a bassy head into a 4x10 or 4x12. Actually have to roll back the treble on my silvertone which I don't even have to much with my jaguar. The mastery is really awesome as well, and I really dig the vintage radius. Color looks a lot richer in person too.

All in all, I'd get this again any day of the week, I can't believe I've been living my life without this thing it's that good. This guitar is going to the grave for sure.

The stripe is pretty noticeable up close in person, love the stripe on the fretboard. Very nice light rosewood. All the rosewood boards I have are dark as fuck.
