I only bought the vape to play venues where they mic amps and don't let me turn my deluxe reverb past 2-3. The funny thing is though now I barely ever use the DR because I prefer the tone and simplicity of the vape, and depending on your definition of clean is still very usable (vape has a more surfy/rockabilly clean tone when turned up, but doesn't do jazz level cleans.).
There's so many amps tho man, I would never buy one blind, especially not some oddball mij solid state thing that could either be the best or worst amp you've heard. Just find the cheapest thing that does what you want and isn't a behringer and you're all set.

edit... Well i have never ever played somewhere where they didn't mic except for squats(lol) . Even the shittiest underground venues mic amps. But when you have a dave grohl-strength(not skill ofc)drummer and you want the bass player to hear you too, because she had to give him her monitor you just have to crank the amp loud...

Oh. send a mail asking for a demo to the seller. If it sounds shieeet i will take look at the Crate V33 heads, MArshall Class 5 combos and others(I mean i hate "british" tone, but its tube so it must be good right ) There are also some Laney combos(VC 15, 30 and some half tube things) in my second-hand price range. We'll see, it is still a month until i am buying anything .

i stand corrected! trip out, never heard of that! what does the added voltage do for it? just let's you use big ass speakers with crazy amounts of resistance?
NickS posted an article... The speakers have down voltage transformers for themselves, the 100V is there because of the speaker cable length where it would have killed the high end and clarity using conventional voltage. :/ useless for modern style of guitar amplification where you mic your stage cabinet tho.
Thx for the suggestions. Well i don't really know much about the class5. All i know is that everybody praises it and they are dirt cheap. I also have to take a look at vintage german dynacord amps.
I wouldn't look into a vintage amp, too much to learn about so you don't get burned. Personally I'd look into a 30w 1x12 tube combo. There's plenty of different ones for affordable prices, they're loud enough to gig with regardless of it being micd and you won't piss your parents off if you wanna practice in your room. A lot of amps these days have headphone outs too.
I wouldn't go head and cab or for like a twin or something. It's just not as necessary starting out. I'll add more to this when I get home.
The thing is that head and cab is much, much more comfortable for me. I have a little solid state Fender combo in my shelf for noodling and what i need is a good loud stage amp that can get over our super loud drummer in larger venues and won't kill the soundguy in tiny clubs, so it is kind of reasonable to have something that i can pair either with my fender SC 112 cab or i can buy a 4x12 for it and rock. That's why heads are more appealing to me... But any amp is better than a borrowed one from the other band...
Quick question( i fail to understand here ) Tube head on 4Ohms and 8Ohm cab=output transformer bursts into flames... Does that happen with solid state heads or not?
I don't think it's that extreme. They'll handle differences of one level (for ex. 4 and 8, not as much 4 and 16 mismatch) not badly, although you may destroy it eventually if you do it for a long time. I don't think it always catches fire, I think you might sometimes blow a fuse or also screw up the tubes or something. Fender amps on the other hand, seem to be able to handles higher impedances, and they are made for 4 ohms minimum (some models for 2 ohms), which is the way solid-states work, they usually have a 4 ohm minimum impedance and a single speaker output.
I don't know how Fender amps handle 16 ohms though.
