Years ago, probably 2005-06 I got a '65 Mustang that had been refinished in thick hot pink car paint with Lace Sensors....about to refinish in Shell Pink nitro and these $3K+ Custom Shop guitars are pretty inspiring....

This is the reason I joined the forum and hoping to make this a sick, slightly more correct "coulda been" player!

FINALLY got started spraying the Shell Pink on my '65 body and headstock. Should have a cool "new" 50 year old guitar in the spring....

Does anyone here actually own one of these guitars? I saw a post somewhere by someone that bought one. I think it was Sherwood Green.. Not that I have any desire to spend that type of money on a Mustang, Im just curious about them. How well do they stand up in a review? What are the necks like? Are they chunky? I had a really nice MIJ mustang but I sold it because the neck was too thin. It destroyed my hand.

You can get the look of one of these just by switching out the pickguard on a sonic blue or vintage white squier mustang with the pickguard from a red squier mustang, which is actually my plan. I want a red and blue mustang combo.
